Our Lord’s Mission Statement was prophetic and wonderfully simple:
The Mission Statement of Jesus Christ, AD 30
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me; because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and the recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.”
Isaiah 64:1, Luke 4:18
So what is our Mission in our Lord Jesus in today’s world? A Mission Statement should be short, to the point and easy to remember.
We could say:
The mission of Caritas Catholic Church International is to find the rejected, disconnected and discarded parts of the Lord’s Church and to help heal, sort and reassemble according to the teachings of our Lord and Apostles in the New Testament (I Cor.1:17 31, John.17)
And:
Our Lord’s mission includes the development of House Church ministries. House Church ministries are satellite Bible study groups of a larger church program. New Testament House Churches were physically autonomous, but spiritually shared in the beautiful loving unity of God’s Truth in Christ Jesus,
(Romans 6:5, 1 Cor.16:19, Col.4:15, Philemon:1:2)
But to keep it simple:
The Mission of Caritas Catholic Church is to help bring the whole Bride of Christ into powerful unity, love, and maturity without spot wrinkle or blemish.
Rev.19:7
(Eph.4:1-16, Eph. 5:27, 1 Peter 1:19, Heb.9:14, 2 Pet.3:14)
If you don’t take time to look up the scriptures how will you judge what is true?
It is the truth that sets us free.
